Safety-First Lift Systems
We offer three lift system options, each designed with child safety in mind:
1. Corded Shades
- Fitted with a breakaway tassel that detaches under pressure to prevent entanglement.
- Designed for smooth operation while reducing risk.
- Recommended to always keep cords out of reach using wall-mounted cleats or clips.
2. Continuous Cord Loop
- Comes with a breakaway system and must be securely anchored to the wall or window frame with a tensioner.
- Keeps the cord taut and helps prevent the formation of dangerous loops.
- Easy to use with one hand, ideal for large or heavy shades.
3. Cordless Shades
- Completely loose cords free design.
- Operated by gently pushing or pulling on the bottom rail.
- The safest option for households with children or pets.
Additional Built-In Safety Features
Cord Shroud (Rear Cord Covering)
- Shades with lift cords running behind the fabric include a cord shroud — a built-in fabric channel that prevents loose cord loops from forming at the back of the shade.
- Helps eliminate hidden hazards when shades are fully or partially raised.
