Return and Refund Policy

We take great pride in crafting custom-made window treatments that reflect your exact needs and preferences. Because each product is made to order, we have specific policies in place to protect the integrity of our process while maintaining a fair and transparent customer experience.

 

Custom-Made Products

All shades and blinds are made to the precise specifications you provide. As such, custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the case of manufacturing defects or errors on our part.

 

We Strongly Recommend Ordering Fabric Swatches

To ensure that the fabric’s color, texture, weight, and opacity meet your expectations, we highly recommend ordering fabric swatches or sample booklets before placing a custom order. This is the best way to avoid surprises and confirm your selection in real-world lighting and conditions.

 

Returnable Items

We will accept returns or offer a refund/replacement only in the following situations:

  • The product has a manufacturing defect
  • You received the wrong product, such as incorrect color, size, or style not matching your order confirmation
  • The item was damaged during shipping (must be reported within 7 days of delivery with clear photo documentation)

To initiate a return request, please contact us at contact@nnshade.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

 

Return Shipping Fee

For made-to-measure products, returns are only accepted once approved by our team. If your return is authorized, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is faulty or not as described.

 

Refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will refund the product cost, excluding a 20% deduction to cover handling, packing, and original shipping expenses.

 

Refund Amount = 80% of the original order total.

 

Please note: Since all our blinds are custom-made to your specifications, they cannot be resold. This is why the handling and processing fee applies.

 

Non-Returnable Reasons

We do not accept returns or issue refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Product appearance differs from online images
    (Screen displays and lighting can affect how fabric appears; we recommend ordering swatches.)
  • Fit issues from customer-provided measurements
    (If made to your specifications, we are not responsible for improper fit.)
  • Fabric weight not as expected
    (Sample booklets are available to evaluate fabric thickness and weight in advance.)
  • Color not as expected or desired
    (We recommend confirming with swatches; if the correct color was made, it is not returnable.)
  • Quality does not meet expectations
    (If the product matches the selected specifications, it cannot be returned based on preference. Order swatches to assess quality before purchase.)
  • Change of mind or product no longer wanted
  • Ordered by mistake, such as:
    • Wrong size
    • Wrong system (e.g., lift or headboard size)
    • Incorrect product selection
  • Order arrives later than expected
    (Delivery estimates are not guaranteed due to shipping and production variables.)
  • Slight size differences
    (A tolerance of 0.5cmh is considered acceptable)

·        Color variation due to natural dye lot differences
(Slight differences between fabric swatches and final products are standard in textile production.)

·        Color variation caused by lining
(Adding a liner may slightly alter the perceived color due to layering and light diffusion.)

·        Color inconsistency when using different liners on matching curtains

·        Shading or blackout level is not as expected
(Light control depends on fabric type, liner, and lighting conditions; consult with us before ordering.)
